  • The Finance Manager will also oversee compliance with accounting regulations and company policies, manage cash flow, and support financial decision-making across departments.

  • Candidate must be located in Antofagasta, Chile, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, or Lima, Peru.
  • Either of these cities are open for the position''s base location.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and direct activities of the general accounting department including financial reporting, balance sheet management and reconciliation, inter/intra-company accounting, and compiling consolidated financial statements.
  • Instill and maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts for all companies.
  • Ensure internal control policies and procedures are adequate by continually assessing existing policies and implementing new policies where applicable.
  • Oversee updating the monthly Board of Directors' reporting package.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP throughout all companies.
  • Provide assistance for internal and external audits when needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external audit scheduling and preparation.
  • Review and approve monthly financial statements for all companies.
  • Assist the business unit Controllers/analysts throughout the annual budgeting process.
  • Work with the corporate department leaders to complete annual budgets and compile all data for final review.
  • Perform financial analysis as needed to support potential solutions and decisions.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations as it relates to M&A activity for the Board of Directors and Owners.
  • Ensure the Tax Department completes accurately and timely all required corporate, state, and local tax filings.
  • Assist the Accounts Receivable and Credit function by reviewing credit applications, collections, and bad debt write-offs.
  • KEY QUALIFICATIONSExcellent knowledge of GAAP and current accounting regulations and internal controls.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple high-level priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office software, and accounting software.

  • Ability to promote teamwork and direct work of employees.
  • Ability to train and mentor employees.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Work Environment: Candidate must be located in Antofagasta, Chile, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, or Lima, Peru.
