- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Import and Export Analyst to oversee and optimize our international trade operations.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing import and export activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and streamlining logistics processes to support our business growth.
- Key Responsibilities:Coordinate import and export operations for both intercompany and third-party transactions, including temporary admissions, new product launches, reverse logistics, and special shipments.
- Ensure efficient supply chain management in alignment with contracted services and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as brokers, freight forwarders, transport companies, and bonded warehouses to mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with trade regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date import/export documentation and support inbound/outbound shipment requirements.
- Review and approve trade-related financial transactions.
- Support trade and financial audits as required.
- Work closely with regulatory authorities such as ANVISA, MAPA, Brazilian Customs, and INMETRO.
- Provide assistance to finance, accounting, and other internal departments.
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance decision-making and optimize processes.
- Utilize business intelligence tools to improve data analysis and reporting (Power BI, SAP, Access, Power Automate).
- Drive process improvements through innovative technology solutions and automation.
- Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in foreign trade and logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations governing import and export activities.
- Background in medical devices, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
- Experience working in a global organization with a strong focus on compliance and quality standards.
- Expertise in international trade and customs procedures.
- Skills & Competencies:Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently solve complex challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate) is mandatory.
- Familiarity with ERP Global Trade Management systems (SAP-GTS, HANA, e-Comex) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
- Spanish proficiency will be considered a strong differentiator.
