They specialize in high-touch investor workflows, subscription processing, wire tracking, deal coordination, CRM management, and LP communications.Role OverviewThe Chief of Staff / Investor Operations Partner will serve as a central operator supporting two senior partners, ensuring all investor workflows run smoothly and no detail falls through the cracks. This role blends investment operations, investor-relations-adjacent communication, personal workflow support, and process ownership. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, brings exceptional judgment, and balances analytical thinking with high-quality execution. Candidates with EA experience supporting founders in tech companies are also well-suited for this role.Your Impact
- Ensure investor communications are timely, professional, and accurate, supporting high LP satisfaction and retention.
- Streamline operational workflows, improving partner efficiency and reducing turnaround times.
- Provide clear visibility into all deals, SPVs, and fundraising processes to senior partners.
- Maintain high organizational standards across CRM, tracking systems, and operational documentation.
- Contribute to relationship-building activities, including investor events, dinners, and travel coordination.
- Manage end-to-end investor email threads based on short partner instructions.
- Respond to repeatable LP questions accurately and quickly.
- Identify when to act independently versus escalate.
- Maintain a polished, professional tone in all investor-facing communication.
- Track all SPV phases: soft commits, document delivery, wire completions, and pending items.
- Ensure subscription links and documents are accurate and sent on time.
- Maintain updated investor status across concurrent raises.
- Provide partners clear visibility into deal and raise progress.
- Log all investor interactions and calls in CRM or trackers.
- Update statuses after commitments, documents, wires, and follow-ups.
- Maintain an accurate and organized investor database across funds and SPVs.
- Send proactive follow-ups for pending wires, documents, or investor decisions.
- Maintain a consistent operational rhythm that reduces partner workload.
- Ensure no investor goes cold due to internal bandwidth constraints.
- Coordinate investor dinners and IR-related events end-to-end.
- Manage guest lists, invitations, confirmations, and dietary preferences.
- Work with venues on menus, private rooms, timing, and logistics.
- Research relevant conferences and submit applications.
- Book flights, hotels, and build consolidated travel calendars.
- Align travel with investor and deal-related priorities.
- Manage selected personal logistics that blend into day-to-day work.
- Coordinate schedules, reservations, and lifestyle-adjacent tasks.
- Convert partner workflows into lightweight processes or checklists.
- Create simple documentation, such as SOPs or Loom videos, as needed.
- Experience in high-touch operational roles: investment operations, IR support, client coordination, banking/finance operations, or similar.
- Exceptional English communication, especially email clarity with sophisticated investors.
- Ability to triage 30+ emails/day and independently decide what to answer, research, or escalate.
- Comfort operating in fast, unstructured environments with minimal SOPs.
- High discretion and professionalism handling financial workflows.
- Proven ability to manage multi-step, multi-stakeholder processes without losing detail.
- Willingness to support both high-leverage investor tasks and occasional personal logistics.
- Background in venture capital, private equity, finance, or SPV administration.
- Experience supporting partner-level or MD-level leaders.
- Ability to design lightweight processes or tracking systems from scratch.
- Experience with CRMs or investor portals.
- Familiarity with Loom or similar tools for documentation.
