- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and research potential customers through inbound channels. Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
- Market Expansion: Execute region-specific strategies to grow Wati’s footprint in LATAM, contributing directly to sales pipeline and revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with prospects via email, phone, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and educate them on Wati’s value proposition.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to hand off qualified leads, provide market insights, and optimize campaigns.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records in the CRM system and share regular updates with the regional team.
- Experimentation & Feedback: Test new outreach tactics, gather market feedback, and help shape go-to-market messaging for the region.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role—preferably in SaaS or tech.
- Deep understanding of the LATAM market and experience working with businesses in the region.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish (Comfortable with intermediate-level English for internal communication)
- Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or other CRMs.
- Background as a SDR/AE in SaaS with a focus on conversational marketing is a bonus.
- Consultative sales mindset, resilience in handling objections, and curiosity to constantly learn and adapt.
- Passion for showing how automation and conversational experiences via WhatsApp can transform customer engagement for SMBs and enterprises.
