Título: Senior Software Engineer - UI/UX - Indaiatuba/SP - 114293As a Senior Software Engineer at John Deere, based at the headquarters in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be an integral part of an Agile team. Your passion for UI/UX, Software Engineering, and AI will fuel the transformation of John Deere's e-commerce applications.You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, UX designers, and developers to analyze requirements and implement robust solutions. A core part of your role will be leveraging your understanding of responsive design principles, analytics, and integration patterns to turn wireframes and prototypes into high-quality production code.A key responsibility will be leading and ensuring that all deliveries follow well-architected principles. This includes leveraging industry standards like SOLID principles and the 12-Factor App for development practices within the team. You'll also guarantee high-quality delivery by championing Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.The ideal candidate will also mentor and partner with team members to ensure the quality of deliverables, promote optimal solutions, and facilitate knowledge sharing. You will have the opportunity to explore and experiment with the latest advancements in UI/UX, AI, and GenAI, incorporating innovative techniques and methodologies into our product roadmap and development.Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, UX designers, and developers to analyze requirements and implement solutions;
- Utilize an understanding of responsive design principles, analytics, and integration patterns to translate wireframes and prototypes into production code;
- Lead and ensure delivery follows well-architected principles, leveraging industry standards such as SOLID principles and the 12-Factor App for development practices within the team;
- Lead and ensure high-quality delivery through adherence to Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices;
- Mentor, pair, and partner with team members to ensure the quality of deliverables, optimal solutions, and the facilitation of knowledge sharing;
- Explore and experiment with the latest advancements in UI/UX, AI, and GenAI, incorporating innovative techniques and methodologies into the roadmap and product development.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related areas;
- Advanced English skills: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and provides training;
- Experience building applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js/Express;
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and various testing frameworks and simulation libraries like Jest, Selenium/Playwright, and Mountebank;
- Understanding of application development environments, databases, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints;
- Experience in developing and delivering applications using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.);
- Experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
- Experience in developing and delivering applications for the cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP);
- Experience providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members within a product space;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with performance audits using tools like Lighthouse, DataDog, etc., and the ability to translate them into actionable UI/UX improvements;
- Exposure to conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable design and engineering improvements;
- Experience with the design, development, testing, and integration of software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Microservices (e.g., Platforms, Applications, APIs);
- Experience collaborating with multiple business stakeholders and designers to provide user experience solutions;
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and API integrations.
