The CCReporting team at Motorola Solutions is responsible for building a platform that provides a place to build reports and analytics dashboards for different products. Our platform enables users to visualize and summarize data, providing insightful details on various products developed by teams at MSI.What We Do

We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience and helping them to get the most out of their data.Job DescriptionAs a software engineer contributing to an advanced software development team using modern software development techniques to produce world-class public safety software. The candidate will be responsible for participating in the SDLC process by designing, developing and maintaining the software for the product.Responsibilities:Participate in formal design and implementation activitiesDevelop and maintain front-end applicationDevelop requirements, code and create unit and e2e automated testing solutionsCreate backend services to manage data flow process, ETL and product provisioningWrite APIs to connect services/components for the e2e solutions implementationWrite code and scripts following the security standards for secure application solutionDesign and implement data flow and ETL workflows for dataParticipate in agile process for development with work effort estimations, planning and retrospective analysisCollaborate with other team members for requirement gathering, development process and provide supportDebug and fix the issuesDevOps process for build and deployment to services/infrastructure componentsEffectively collaborate with technical leaders in a multi-team environmentDemonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and requirementsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.Advanced English5+ years of experience with software developmentEffective communication in English (joining an international team)Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in developing microservicesExperience with programming languages: C#, javascript, typescriptSolid understanding of backend service architectureExperience with C# Web API and NoSQL in building scalable web applicationsStrong knowledge of relational database SQL database and non relational database like MongoDB or CosmosDBMinimum of a three years of experience in web development using .NET and one of Angular/React/Vue (including TypeScript, RxJS)Must have strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptAdditional Skills/Plus:Scripting with bash and powershellKnowledge of databricks is plusContainer orchestration technology like KubernetesKnowledge of DevOps process with build and deployment of services/infrastructureExperience working with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure or GCPFamiliar with design patterns and write clean codeGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExperience with Agile Software Development practices (Scrum and Kanban preferred).Self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly and independently, and work within an Agile team#LI-WC1#LI-REMOTETravel Requirements NoneRelocation Provided NonePosition Type ExperiencedReferral Payment Plan YesEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
