We are a globally distributed, remote-first team driven by data, innovation, and a passion for helping our partners succeed.The RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and communicative Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our growing Data Team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our raw data and our internal business stakeholders. You will own our Metabase environment, ensuring it remains organized, efficient, and accessible. If you have a knack for translating complex business kakatrequirements into actionable dashboards, writing highly optimized SQL, and collaborating with Data Engineering teams to build robust pipelines, we want you on our team!Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to gather data requirements, understand their goals, and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Dashboard Creation & BI Management: Design, build, and maintain intuitive and actionable dashboards. Own the administration of Metabase, ensuring the platform remains structured, performant, and easy for non-technical users to navigate.
  • Advanced SQL Development: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract valuable insights from our databases.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to identify gaps in our data. Clearly define and document requirements for new data pipelines and data models to support your reporting needs.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Proactively identify data discrepancies and work with the broader data team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-centric role.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in SQL (ability to write complex joins, window functions, and optimize queries).
  • Hands-on experience administering and building reports in Metabase (experience with similar tools like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI is a plus, but Metabase is heavily preferred).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of effectively managing internal stakeholders and gathering technical requirements.
  • Data Intuition: A solid understanding of how data pipelines function and experience working alongside Data Engineers to design data models.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working in the Ad Tech industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Athena, BigQuery).
  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team.
