- Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned geographic territory/accounts forecast and targets through selling skills and effectively learning and managing all stages of the sales cycle.
- General understanding of our product portfolio and the ability to explain technical product or service information
- Ability to communicate our value proposition to customers, based on a given customer’ needs and interests
- Uses standard account planning tools to guide own work and solve routine sales problems
- Ability to apply basic decision and problem-solving skills to achieve straight forward results
- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Chemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
- Successful experience in direct sales, at least 2 years
- Basic understanding of the sales process, different sales markets and has knowledge of Sciex products and services
- Experience in a Sales role; including making sales presentations, negotiating, and closing sales.
- English intermediate level
- Ability to travel – 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or other locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Life Science products, instrumentation and Sciex markets
