- Identifying, contacting, and nurturing potential targets meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics
- Developing relationships with owners, advisors and investors that can lead to a transaction
- Understanding the target’s business and value drivers, and preparing a valuation model
- Issuing indicative offers and signing letters of intent
- Leading multi-functional teams (internal and external) to drive the transaction to signing and closing
- Excellent academic performance
- Strong communication skills
- +7 years of experience in M&A
- Experience working with software or technology is considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint: ability to build complex financial models, to perform complex analyzes, and to structure and deliver presentations to senior management
- Ability to work independently. High level of ownership and natural drive to take initiatives and get things done
- Excellent teamwork spirit and ability to lead multi-functional teams (internal and external) with people from different cultural backgrounds
