- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Analyze user needs and design technical solutions accordingly.

- Conduct risk assessments and proactively drive improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support during complex challenges.
- Ensure adherence to development best practices: code quality, PR reviews, test coverage, performance, resilience, and security.
- Manage the on-call team, ensuring high-quality incident handling and excellent customer experience.
- Make assertive decisions under pressure and within tight constraints.
- Work directly with international teams and clients when needed.
- Monitor team services and newly released features in production, always aiming to meet or exceed SLOs/SLAs.
- For this role, you must be based in Brazil
- Upper Intermediate English Level (B2)
- 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Java or Golang.
- Proficient with relational databases.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Strong grasp of SRE/DevOps concepts.
- Previous experience building large-scale, high-throughput systems.
- Experience in the card issuing industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 and authorization systems.
