- Construction EHS Advisor are responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and policies for construction project workforce and work environment. They inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and industry standards. They also conduct and coordinate safety training and orientation for employees and contractors. Their main goal is to prevent and eliminate injury and illnesses to employees and customers and to protect the environment.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed environmental health and safety Local Government Regulations.
- Compile periodic reports to HQ work cooperatively with EHS HQ on the project.
- Provide leadership, support and technical guidance to the construction Leadership Team to ensure their processes are developed and effectively implemented providing safe and healthy working environments for project employees. Safety coordination and assurance during Commissioning stage.
- Provide guidance in the identification and correction of the root causes of incidents.
- Responsible of Obtaining and Updating Operational Permits from AHJ to prepare EHS reports as required submission to regulatory AHJ.
- Responsible for selecting, training, motivating, and developing the EHS staff for the project.
- Follows up the work of GC EHS Specialists.
- Take a loading role in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing EHS policies and procedures for all construction projects.
- Ensure that all operations construction works with relevant legislation, company requirements, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in MOPs revision.
- Manage Safety indicators, statistics, KPIs and monitor them to reinforce Safety project performance
- Manage local regulations.

- Job Location: Sumaré / SP
- Degrees and/or professional licences in Safety Engineering.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to deliver internal health and safety courses.
- Hands-on experience in the implementation of several of the occupational health components within an EHS program that includes the High-Risk Activities related to construction.
- 5 plus years of experience in similar construction projects.
- Deep Knowledge of OSHA and ISO45001 EHS Standards.
