- As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical systems across the fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, supporting audits by regulatory agencies and clients, and providing strategic technical recommendations to enhance operability, increase business revenue, and safeguard equipment performance. The Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Technical Risk Assessment (TRA), and management of change (MoC), ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous process improvement. By aligning technical action plans with organizational objectives, the engineer helps drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- You provide mechanical expertise to identify and resolve technical issues across the fleet, developing and implementing action plans to enhance system reliability and operability.
- You support regulatory agency audits, as well as internal and client audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- You offer technical recommendations aimed at improving equipment protection, optimizing control device performance, and highlighting potential technical risks. You contribute to the development of Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) and participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), proposing actionable plans to mitigate risks and prevent future issues.
- You play a key role in the company's Strategy and Governance, ensuring alignment with best practices, Class issues, regulatory requirements, and GTS standards.
- You drive Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize mechanical processes and systems, proposing initiatives, and ensuring their implementation aligns with company goals. You provide technical support to unit operations, guiding management decisions with expert insights on mechanical systems.
- You assist the Supply Chain in evaluating technical proposals for services or materials that deviate from like-for-like standards, ensuring quality and compliance. You serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for evaluating Management of Change (MoC) and QnA in mechanical disciplines, ensuring thorough analysis and proper documentation. You develop and issue Technical Notes and Guidelines, sharing lessons learned and promoting best practices across the fleet to enhance operational performance and compliance with company standards.
- You define and execute a 3-Year Plan (3YP) related to Mechanical scope, supporting budget exercises and strategic initiatives. You promote interface with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, conducting technical interviews and participating in meetings.
- Mechanical Engineering graduation;
- CREA active (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura
- (Architecture and Civil Engineering Regional Council)
- Experience in O&G industry projects (minimum 5 years).
- Experience in relevant projects in oil and gas industry acting as engineer or interface coordinator.
