This role offers the chance to collaborate across teams and make a real impact!
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for deployment, support, and day-to-day operations of the Windows server environments – both physical and virtual servers. This includes deployment, support, and day-to-day operations of Windows networking, application support, and storage systems. This includes performing change management activities, trouble-shooting, and support of application and project teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining security by patching, following all processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and will be required to be available during off-hours, weekends, and holidays if needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years as a Microsoft Windows System Administrator
  • Technologiest Degree or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar area
  • MCSE highly desired
  • In-depth understanding of the Windows server, supporting infrastructure, and components
  • Deployment and support and support of Windows systems, components, and networks; both physical servers and virtual servers employing VMware virtualization
  • Deployment and support of Windows networking and related components, including ISCSI, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Deployment and support of SAN and NAS storage
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows capacity and performance management
  • Extensive knowledge of VMware, Vcenter, eSXI, and Vmware virtualization concepts
Desired Skills
  • Support for Microsoft SQL Server clustered environments
  • Knowledge of Splunk and Splunk architecture
  • Knowledge of JAVA and JAVA-based application architecture
  • Knowledge of Cisco UCS infrastructure with high redundancy
  • Knowledge of Nimble storage infrastructure with high redundancy
  • Knowledge and experience with Business Continuity processes
  • Experience in Payment Industry
