
Associate Project Surveyor

- Support the management of the project lifecycle, assisting with planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases, including post-completion review
- Contribute to project risk assessments prior to mobilization under the guidance of senior staff
- Assist in reviewing and transferring project material from the bid stage to project teams, including contract requirements, technical specifications, and commercial terms
- Support project execution and assist in identifying, documenting, and escalating contractual variations
- Help coordinate personnel requirements for projects in collaboration with Operations Management
- Assist in sourcing project equipment internally and externally to support execution
- Help identify and report potential technical, commercial, and QHSE risks for assigned projects
- Administer and assist with specific project tasks as delegated by the Project Surveyor or Survey Manager
- Follow appropriate procedures, work instructions, and forms within the IMS to support compliance with Company standards
- Review survey specifications in contract and project documentation with supervision
- Provide input to commercial and technical proposals as requested
- Assist in compiling project-specific survey procedures aligned with Company operating procedures
- Collaborate with other disciplines to support the development of high-quality technical content for commercial and project support
- Stay informed on relevant technical developments, working practices, and Company procedures
- Provide technical support to offshore teams when required, under supervision
- Assist in quality control and contribute to the timely delivery of final reports
- Participate in project risk assessments before mobilization
- Support quality control of final deliverables to clients
- Assist in liaising with internal logistics personnel to help coordinate offshore staff and equipment mobilization
- Participate in site and client visits as required, under supervision
- Follow appropriate procedures, work instructions, and forms within the Integrated Management System (IMS) to support compliance with Company standards
- Actively participate in the Company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs, including safety meetings and operational risk assessments, as requested
- Support the execution of operations in alignment with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System, ensuring safe and compliant practices
- Actively participate in the Company's Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures, demonstrating safe working practices and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Understand and comply with UTEC policies and procedures, particularly those related to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geoscience, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience in the offshore survey industry is desirable
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is beneficial
- Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn how to professionally present project materials and engage with clients under supervision
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and contribute effectively within project teams
- Must hold a valid passport free from restrictions that would prevent travel to countries where the Company operates
- Basic understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) principles, including risk assessment and safety standards, with a commitment to ongoing development in this area
