Senior/Master Mechanical Engineer

• Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior/Master Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Belo Horizonte - MG office.
• About the role:Lead and develop conceptual and basic engineering projects, working collaboratively to ensure and maintain the fundamental flow of information with peer areas.
• Seek technical solutions for engineering development and the application of new tools and technologies.
• Conduct strategic studies that require agility in evaluating alternatives, including mines, plants, railways, and ports.
• Act as a liaison between the engineering team, consultants, and international specialists to validate and/or critique technical solutions, aiming to mitigate risks, enhance safety, and reduce CapEx and project implementation timelines.
• Review projects and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance with deadlines.
• Support and collaborate with project implementation teams, capturing lessons learned to optimize future projects.
• About you:Degree in Mechanical Engineering; 10 years of experience in similar roles; Strong leadership, supervision, and team management skills; Experience in designingand implementing large-scale industrial projects; Knowledge of processes and technologies applied in iron, gold, and copper mining projects; Experience in construction, assembly, and service contracting; Proficiency in softwareand equipment sizing for bulk material handling and transportation, as well as heavy boiler calculation; Strong communication skills and an articulate professional demeanor; Advanced English proficiency; Spanish is desirable; Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD/Volo View.
