  • This individual will design, develop, and deliver engaging training content for diverse audiences from financial advisors and their assistants to home office strategists, operations teams, and internal staff.
  • This is a foundational hire for our enablement organization.
  • The instructional designer will create the curricula and core learning assets that trainers, account executives, and client success managers will leverage at scale.
  • Responsibilities Curriculum Development Design structured learning paths (101 onboarding, role-based 201, advanced 301, and certifications) tailored to advisors, operations staff, and HQ users.
  • Translate complex wealth-tech workflows into digestible, engaging training modules.
  • Build multi-modal content: e-learning modules, videos, job aids, guides, playbooks, and interactive demos.
  • Maintain a consistent brand and learning style across all materials.
  • Create onboarding journeys that shorten time to adoption for new clients.

  • Support adoption campaigns for new products or features with training collateral.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts (product managers, solution consultants, client success executives) to gather knowledge and validate accuracy.
  • Work closely with trainers (as they are hired) to refine content based on classroom or webinar feedback.
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams to ensure training aligns with releases and client messaging.
  • Monitor adoption and training metrics to evaluate effectiveness of content.
  • Update training material in sync with product releases.
  • Incorporate feedback from advisors, HQ clients, and internal teams.
  • Qualifications 5+ years in instructional design or learning development in a B2B software or services context.
  • Mastery of adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.
  • ), and curriculum development.
  • Experience designing content for multiple formats: e-learning, video, live instructor-led, self-paced guides.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) and LMS platforms.
  • Strong ability to translate technical/complex workflows into clear, engaging, and actionable training.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience designing training for financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM, OMS, portfolio management, or fintech platforms.
  • Experience building certification programs.
  • Success Metrics Reduction in support tickets tied to how-to questions.
  • Measurable lift in advisor adoption of key platform modules after training campaigns.
  • Training content updated in sync with every major product release.
  • Positive feedback scores from advisors, HQ clients, and internal staff.
