
Lead Front-End Engineer – Maestro: innovation at ADP Brazil Labs

- Lead the design and development of front-end architectures that merge AI-driven workflows with design system components into a cohesive user experience.
- Build and maintain reusable, framework-agnostic UI building blocks leveraging web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, etc.).
- Ensure Maestroʼs interfaces meet the highest standards of accessibility, usability, performance, and adaptability across platforms.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, UX designers, and platform engineers to orchestrate seamless integration of services and components.
- Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and architectural guidance to drive engineering excellence across the team.
- Contribute to the evolution of ADPʼs design system by aligning Maestroʼs front-end innovations with ADPʼs broader product ecosystem.
- Rapidly prototype and experiment with AI-powered interactions, delivering PoCs, pilots, and MVPs that validate new patterns of human-AI collaboration.
- At least 8 years of experience developing and scaling complex, high-performance web applications.
- Deep expertise in semantic HTML, modern CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and browser APIs.
- Proven experience with Web Components, Shadow DOM, and other standards-based approaches that ensure framework-agnostic reusability.
- Strong understanding of AI-powered interfaces, conversational UI patterns, and context-aware front-end behaviors.
- Proficiency with modern tooling, frameworks, and libraries commonly used to build, test, and document consistent web applications (e.g., bundlers, package managers, testing frameworks, Storybook, etc.).

- Solid knowledge of accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), internationalization, and front-end performance optimization.
- Ability to integrate UI with back-end services, AI APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Leadership experience guiding engineering teams, mentoring peers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- A passion for exploring the intersection of AI, design, and front-end engineering, with curiosity for emerging standards and tools.
- Shape the next generation of intelligent user experiences, working at the frontier of AI and design.
- Contribute to a flagship innovation project that will impact ADPʼs global product ecosystem.
