In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Issue purchase orders (POs), follow up with local and international suppliers, and input data into global systems;
  • Monitor deadlines and deliveries, ensuring operational excellence for projects;
  • Support import activities and document management, according to department guidelines;
  • Participate in meetings with internal departments (PMO, Engineering, Quality) to align demands;
  • Deal with suppliers from different countries
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or related fields;
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in international procurement of direct materials in an industrial or project environment;
  • Functional intermediate English skills, capable of expressing oneself, handling emails, reading documents, and participating in meetings;
  • Basic knowledge of import processes and international documentation;
  • Proactive profile, good communication and negotiation skills with a sense of responsibility and organization, capable of handling multiple demands and deadlines.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Previous experience working as a foreign trade analyst or directly leading importing operations;
  • Experience with buying industrial commodities (valves, skids, pumps).
  • Experience developing new suppliers.
