- Selects appropriate testing approach
- Develops and executes test plans and test cases.
- Collaborates across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage.
- Identifies improvements in requirements, design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.
- Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks, including the work of others
- Proficient in Software Testing
- Familiar with Test Management Techniques
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to transfer expertise and best practices within the testing team and across the organization.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of QA principles and hands-on expertise in manual testing methods and frameworks.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Bruno or Postman
- Experience working with BDD using Gherkin, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Rally, Jira, TestRail)
- Experience working with PostgreSQL using tools like pgAdmin, DBeaver, or psql
- Comfortable using tools such as IntelliJ, FileZilla (SFTP), and Splunk for log analysis
- Knowledge of cloud concepts and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with Red Hat environments and tooling
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, regression testing)
- Exposure to defining Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Approaches
- Experience or training in automated testing methods and frameworks
- Familiarity with Java programming, JUnit and Spring
