We connect well-being and professional development.Take a Look Into Your Future at Pacifica ContinentalAs a Data Specialist, you are expected to develop all projects and initiatives within Pacifica’s data and process technology scope, with the goal of optimizing business performance, facilitating management, and reducing costs.The role also carries the responsibility of serving as the company’s reference in data architecture, managing the Azure, MS Fabric, and Power Platform infrastructure, facilitating innovation, managing the company’s internal ERP (PacOS) and internal CRMs (JazzHR, Apollo, Zoho, Hubspot, DashR...), addressing internal stakeholder requests, developing dashboards, process automations (RPA or low-code apps), ETL processes, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Data Engineering, BI, RPA, Apps, and related projects, defining business requirements and deliverables for all project stakeholders;
- Maintain and customize all Pacifica cloud resources (servers, virtual machines, Active Directory, web apps, app service plans, logic apps, etc.);
- Manage the company’s Power Platform products, including tenant administration, cost estimation, user management, and governance;
- Serve as the database administrator for our servers, applying business-related fixes as needed (Azure SQL Server);
- Develop Power BI dashboards for all company departments;
- Build data engineering pipelines in SQL, Python, SparkSQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Data Flows Gen2, and other Microsoft Fabric tools;
- Create process automations (RPA) in Power Automate (SharePoint and SQL Server automations), N8N, and Python (Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, Requests, etc.);
- Develop applications in Power Apps;
- Act as Product Owner for the PacOS system and Product Manager for the DashR system;
- Develop the company’s semiannual strategic planning using the OKR methodology combined with Balanced Scorecard;
- Provide support and consulting to Pacifica’s internal departments, serving as a reference for process improvement and decision-making support.
- Bachelor’s degree completed (Technology, Engineering or Business Administration are preferred);
- Postgraduate degree or MBA is preferred;
- Proven 6+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Specialist or similar role, preferably in a multicultural environment;
- Fluent English is a must have (You will talk every day in english.Therefore, only apply if you are confortable working in English);
- Advanced Spanish is a plus;
- Business oriented mindset;
- Ability to work independently, with ownership of the area and orienting other members of the area;
- Motivation to work in a multicultural environment;
- Ability to handle confidential information;
- Good communication skills;
- Excel and Power BI (Power BI report builder is a plus)
