- This role will involve creating test cases, preparing test data, maintaining quality in sprints, ensuring product is defect free and delivering a positive user experience.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to think outside of the box and come up with creative ways to test.
- This role is remote and will require working remotely with other team members.

- We are currently expanding our team as we grow and improve FileCloud.
- Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the QE Practice Lead to create comprehensive test plans that outline the testing scope, objectives, and strategiesDevelop detailed test cases based on requirements, functional specifications, and user storiesExecute test cases to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure that the software meets quality standardsPerform Sprint testing to validate new code changes and perform stress testing of features as per impact analysisDocument defects found during testing in a clear and structured manner and report into defect management toolManage test data and ensure its availability, relevance, and consistency for testing purposesTest reporting and metricsCollaborate with cross functional teamsEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesQualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in computer science5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineeringStrong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologiesStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience using test and defect management toolsExperience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test casesExperience with Automation Testing is mandatory (Pytest, Playwright, Php)Set up and maintain test labs with multiple testing environmentsReproduce reported customer problems to help developers troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issuesKnowledge of testing on both Linux and Windows operating systemBasic understanding of API'sKnowledge of CI/CDISQBT certification is a plusEffective communication and collaboration skillsWhat We OfferBe part of a team of passionate, committed individuals dedicated to building a world-class productDedicated time for training and education opportunitiesA mentorship model wherein your mentor and team support your developmentA competitive salary with an annual bonusFully remote working whilst offering flexible hours that fall outside of the companywide core hours of 9am -12pm (US Eastern Standard Time)20 days of paid time off which increases by a further 2 days after 3 years of service and 3 days after 5 years of service (in addition to 10 public holidays in your country)Paid day off on your birthday or on an alternative day if your birthday falls outside a normal working dayPaid day off to volunteer with the charity of your choicePaid monthly internet cost, as well as lunch and wellbeing stipend providedReimbursement of all hardware costs associated with the roleWe conduct background security checks for everyone joining our team.
