We offer a wide variety of services focused on Human Resources.Today, we are assisting a large multinational company that is seeking a General Coordinator.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our office in Varginha, Brazil, including overseeing the Quality, Logistics, and Administration teams.
  • Report directly to the headquarters located in Switzerland, providing regular updates on operations, performance, and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local coffee suppliers, ensuring timely communication, negotiations, and price discovery in alignment with the procurement team.
  • Oversee visit and audit supplier milling and warehousing facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement, quality control KPIs, and supplier calibration.
  • Responsible for timely shipping in alignment with logistics department.
  • Implement and supervise projects in Brazil, including supporting the responsible sourcing team.
  • Ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and shipping lines to facilitate smooth and timely export operations.
  • Organize, host and lead employee source trips, including other origin visits for internal stakeholders, employees, customers, and partners.
  • Provide support to the Keurig Trading procurement team in Switzerland by reporting on crop forecasts, supply and demand, and political and economic developments.
  • Stay up to date with coffee market trends, intelligence, and reporting.
  • Manage usual office and people management responsibilities, including leading and developing a team of employees.
Requirements:
  • Extensive coffee knowledge, with a strong understanding of the international coffee market, particularly in Brazil.
  • Proven minimum experience of 5 years in the Brazilian coffee supply chain.
  • Coffee quality and sensory expert, with Q and R Grader certifications being a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and priorities.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally for up to 10 days under rustic conditions with some flexibility in scheduling is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with experience working with SAP.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish being a plus.
