HybridSummarySAP Procurement is SAP’s strategic suite of solutions designed to help organizations manage their procurement and sourcing processes efficiently. It enables businesses to automate purchasing, optimize supplier relationships, and control spending while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Our team is spread across Europe, North America, and Asia and is responsible for outbound and inbound product management and for driving SAP Procurement’s strategy to defining requirements and executing them with engineering.The RoleThis role requires a self-directed team player with business and technical acumen, ready to be a deep expert in the Procurement product.In this role you would be working closely with product managers, UX, engineering, and QA to execute the vision for your portfolio of the Procurement suite, refine requirements, plan releases, and support customers and partners.Collaborating closely with product manager peers to create and maintain a backlog maximizing business value based on strategy and ROI.Ensuring requirements are elaborated fully and engineering teams always have adequate prepared tasks to execute on.Actively mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of releases. Plus, support our internal teams and customers to understand new features and releases.Assisting peer product managers and other teams to present features, create webinars, and run workshops at events for our customers.Expected travel is 10-20% (mix of international and US-based)Role Requirements
  • University degree in engineering/computer science or business administration.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years in a B2B SaaS environment as a product manager
  • Domain knowledge of Procurement Products, preferably experience with Supplier Management
  • Strength in grooming backlogs and elaborate requirements to a successful definition of ready.
  • Expertise in supporting sprints and delivering releases.
  • Technical and business acumen.
  • Ability to work with engineers, QA, UX, and product managers as a strong team player.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment with a growth mindset and bias for action.
  • Work effectively in a diverse global team environment with complex products and projects. Including having humility and being open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to resolve issues as a last line of support
  • Assist in facilitating workshops at customer events and creating enablement content.
  • Strong hands-on mindset.
