- The Lower School Makerspace Teacher is a dynamic and innovative educator who fosters creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on STEM learning experiences.
- As an IB World School, we are looking for an educator who can seamlessly integrate maker-centered learning with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum.
- Working closely with classroom teachers and specialists, this educator will design and facilitate engaging, inquiry-based projects that nurture innovation, design thinking, a maker mindset, and strong foundations in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for students from Kindergarten to Grade 5.
- The ideal candidate is:Holds a Bachelors degree in Pedagogy and Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
- Has 35 years of qualified teaching experience, preferably in an international school context.
- A skillful and creative practitioner in multilingual and interdisciplinary classrooms.
- A motivated learner who takes responsibility for their own professional growth.
- Someone who thrives in an environment of transformational leadership.
- Passionate about innovation, creativity, and hands-on, inquiry-based learning.
- Skilled in high-impact 21st-century instructional practices, integrating technology, design thinking, and the arts.
