- Leading and managing large-scale engineering projects in sectors such as Metro, Rail, LRT, Roads, Ports, and Wet/Dry Infrastructures.
- Overseeing the complete project lifecycle from planning and design to execution and close-out, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensuring strict adherence to them.
- Managing and mitigating project risks, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
- Coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery, overseeing contract management and compliance with regulations.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, performance, and financial metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
- Engaging directly with clients to understand their needs, proposing tailored solutions, and supporting negotiation of contract variations and extensions.
- Identifying emerging business opportunities and market trends, contributing to the definition of new scopes and services.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with quality standards and requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.
- Proactively contributing to commercial growth by taking care of relationships with clients, executing proposals and tenders, following up variations orders of existing contracts.
- Leading stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Bachelors Degre in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering or Electrical.
- Proven solid experience in Project Management and Contract Management within the Mobility (Metro, Rail, LRT) and/or Infrastructure (Roads, Ports, Wet and Dry Infrastructures) sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholders across LATAM
- Track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, along with a solid understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management strategies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Solid commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Having CAT (Certidão de Acervo Técnico) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required. Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of regional regulations and infrastructure standards.
