- Channel and Partner Management: Establishing, managing, and maintaining a robust channel network by identifying, onboarding, and training new distributors, resellers, and system integrators. Build strong relationships with channel partners to maximize product availability, market reach, and overall performance.
- Territory Management: Traveling regularly throughout the assigned territory to nurture existing customer relationships, cultivate new partnerships, and explore untapped business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Market Development: Leading the development and execution of the sales strategy for Omnikey Desktop and Embedded readers in all areas with an emphasis in key verticals such as Healthcare, Enterprise, Banking, Secure Printing, and EV Charging.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Defining and executing the GTM strategy for Omnikey readers in the LAM region. Working with marketing and product management teams to ensure that messaging, positioning, and sales tools align with the region's unique market demands.
- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within target verticals. Creating comprehensive account plans to drive new revenue and expand existing accounts.
- Customer Engagement: Engaging with end-users, resellers, and system integrators to promote the benefits and applications of Omnikey Desktop and Embedded solutions. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and ongoing support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with marketing, technical, and product management teams to ensure alignment between market needs and product offerings. Providing feedback to guide product roadmaps and enhance solution offerings.
- Industry Engagement: Representing HID Global and the Omnikey product line at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance market visibility and establish HID as a leader in the region.
- Performance Reporting: Delivering detailed performance metrics and regular reports on sales progress, channel performance, and GTM effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in business or technology preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in business development and/or technical sales, preferably within the technology or RFID sector, with a proven track record of sales and a solid understanding of RFID technologies and the sales process.
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years of channel sales experience in Latin America, a strong network of partners and distributors, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth. They must excel in negotiations, sales strategy, and partner management, understand regional market trends, and be fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese with English proficiency.
- Previous experience in Physical or Logical access control use cases, with familiarity in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Authentication credential technologies, as well as additional knowledge in mobile-centric digital transformation, is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to develop and manage a network of channel partners and integrators.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives resulting in sales growth, particularly within the finance, healthcare, retail/point of sale, enterprise, or secure printing verticals. Understanding of end-user corporate cultures and decision-making processes in Banking, Education, and Commercial Real Estate is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and establish credibility with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team. Experience working effectively across various departments, such as marketing, product development, and technical teams, to drive results.
