Job Category: InternJob Description:The Finance Intern will provide support to the Project Controls Team within ABS Group's Finance department. This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build hands-on experience in project controls, financial reporting, and data analysis within a global organization. The intern will gain insights into key business processes, tools, and methodologies while contributing to the team's success.What You Will Do:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial data related to project budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Assist in setting up, modifying, and closing projects within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Assist with data entry, record-keeping, revenue/cost accrual preparation, and review of project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support the development and monitoring of project schedules and financial reports to ensure compliance with established timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers and financial analysts to track project expenses, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Participate in audits and reviews of project financials to identify process improvements.
Conduct analysis to uncover trends and insights, helping drive more effective decision-making within the team.

What You Will Need:Education and Experience

Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other tools like Power BI or ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Self-starter with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage tasks independently.
