- Works with internal and external stakeholders to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Works to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Oversees supplier engineering performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs and makes recommendations for potential technology investments.
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the engineering and agronomy and regional council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
- Experience with commercial airplane certification, audits and design review activities.
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Experience as a system engineer throughout the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification, and validation.
- Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics and related standards like DO-297 and ARP 4754, ARP 4761.
- Experience in requirement management tools (DOORS or similar).
- Experience with Model Based Engineering Design/Analysis using advanced Modelling & Simulation and Tools & Process development.
