Newrest is hiring an EXECUTIVE CHEF for “Remote sector” based in LATAM area.You are a passionate chef with different culinary expertise, you are driven by operational excellence, by the achievement of objectives, cost control, processes, and organization. You are constantly looking for improvement and a career in an international Group."The position requires frequent travels to remote countries where Newrest operates."MISSION:You will report directly to the Group Executive Chef (based in the Group HQ) and collaborate with Managing Directors in your geographical area.Your main mission is to visit customer sites and Newrest kitchens, to support teams by achieving their Group objectives. You will lead culinary process in line with the group standard and of course through cost-effective menus tailored to client expectations and operational constraints.Culinary Production & Innovation :
  • Participate in the harmonization of recipes and menus in accordance with customer specifications and regional standards.
  • Make sure that deadlines and cost-effective food preparation are met, to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene in collaboration with the QHSE department.
  • Supervise setting up and cooking processes (washing, cutting, baking, etc.) to ensure readiness and consistency.
  • Contribute to maintain recipe sheets in our system (WinRest), ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
  • Provide culinary expertise within all sites that you are in charge.
  • Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients in your area.
  • Working in collaboration with the Group Executive Chefs team.
  • Contribute to the successful development of the Chefs Unlimited Newrest community. In addition, you will organize regional events and share information to promote this community.
Management & Compliance
  • Collaborate with the Group Executive Chef to implement the strategy. Participate in and lead meetings with GM, VP and Sales Director to develop your area of intervention.
  • Evaluate and optimize resources, tools, and production workflows.
  • Conduct internal audits and food tests to ensure menu compliance (ingredients, portions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the QHSE Department to enforce protocols (HACCP, HSE, and safety).
  • Support local teams with training, supervision, and knowledge transfer to enhance culinary performance.
Commercial & Client Relations
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to understand and meet client expectations.
  • Represent the company in client's tenders, site visit, presentations and tasting both in-person and remotely.
  • Build culinary trust with clients by clearly communicating the taste, quality, and technical aspects
  • Ensure transparency towards our clients & customers.
  • Provide all documentation necessary for the execution of menus.
Travel & Representation
  • Visit our clients sites in order to introduce yourself to the teams (Latam, Africa...).
  • Manage your schedule according to the needs of your area.
  • Harmonize practices despite cultural differences within your scope
  • Motivate your scope by providing lean management action plan
