- Lead and set the tone for the department for how you want your team to show up
- Oversee 300 SKU creatives
- Lead the team on asset management & keeping creatives organized
- Work with creative producer to help deliver assets to the rest of the team on time and in an organized manner
- Communicate clearly to team members on what “done” looks like to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Ensure a quality / aesthetic standard for the company
- Take initiative on when to do shoots (even when not asked) by evaluating launch forecast
- Maintain & review all creative assets before releasing to ensure it’s on-brand across all platforms
- Oversee, build, and manage the Design Team and Art Director
- Collaborate with the Creative Producer and design team to ensure models, graphics and packaging are on-brand and delivered on time
- Learn to pass assistant work off to team members
- Communicate with Cassandra when team members are not working or when new team members are needed
- Let go of team members who are not meeting expectations
- Set annual goals for each team member to help growth within the company
- Create systems in place when needed with Project Manager to prevent projects and approves being behind on deadlines
- Create a collaborative growing environment for team members to help internal growth
- Work with Stef (HR) to create scorecards for new roles
- Work with Stef to do quarterly and yearly reviews for each team member
- Provide immediate feedback verbally and via email to ensure team members can make adjustments swiftly
- Bring in freelance team members when needed
- Conceptualize photoshoots and video shoots
- Communicate cross-functionally with other team members to ensure appropriate assets needed
- Create mood boards for photo shoots and video shoots
- Select, book, and direct models
- Mockup what the assets could be used for
- Work with the Creative Producer to create a yearly creative budget
- Confirm bookings a minimum of 2 weeks before each shoot

- Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments in developing marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities
- Create design concepts for licensing opportunities
- Create design concepts for limited edition or collaboration launches
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to create new product design concepts
- Develop internal marketing campaigns that translate objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies
- Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer needs, and the competitor landscape
- Meet budget requirements by forecasting and managing expenses
- Work with the social media team to design the social grid
- Oversee approximately 10 sales presentations per year
- Gather copy and data from the sales team and map out the presentation before beginning the project
- Utilize past presentations to avoid doing unnecessary work i.e. if doing three sales presentations in one month use the same data-driven slides for all presentations and tailor the remaining pages to that particular retailer
- Create a Holiday sell sheet
- Create Product Fact Sheets for all new items that will help sell and educate customers on why
- Work with the copywriter to provide the copy on time
- Work with the PD team to understand the purpose of the product before starting
- Work with the creative team to ensure you have images on time
