- Execute continuous discovery methods with partnering Product and Engineering leads to identify and understand the problems to be solved. Perform customer research throughout the product development lifecycle (PDL) to ensure data and customer/user input is infused into all product designs.
- Continuously refine ideas by understanding real user problems and defining metrics and success in their outcomes.
- As the UX lead for the site location, you’ll serve as key point of contact with your off-site UX team to provide transparency to both your own and UX site activities as it relates to product strategy, projects being executed by yourself and the other UX designers.
- Orchestrate design delivery across multiple product teams. Lead extended teams through all stages of product design delivery from discovery and disambiguation of work, concept development and testing, build, deployment and iteration.
- Leverage user insights to inform data-driven decision making, rapid learning and iterative approaches to delivery.
- Delve into data and spend time with our users and develop a deep understanding of their needs and our opportunities. Develop investment points of view to advance our business and user experience.
- Work with members of our Global Product Experience (GPX) team to ensure your designs are compliant in accessibility, translatability and localization, and adhere to our design system.
- Long-standing career in User Experience Design with a focus on software design on web and mobile platforms.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or other equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with industry standard tools such as Figma, Sketch and various user research tools as well as experience with accessible design and working with design systems
- Proficiency working with designers and teams across the globe.
- Experience mentoring, leading, and recruiting UX designers.
- Portfolio is required for consideration. Documented outcomes a plus
