  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services and high-performance APIs using Node.js, focusing on resilient architecture and long-term maintainability.
  • Establish technical standards and best practices for integrating systems within a microservices architecture, ensuring service cohesion and platform scalability.
  • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and propose robust optimization strategies, ensuring high availability, reliability, and observability of services.
  • Serve as a technical reference within the team by conducting thorough code reviews and mentoring less experienced developers, fostering team growth and technical maturity.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture decisions and critical business flows, promoting a strong knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to define backend solutions aligned with strategic business goals, actively contributing to roadmap decisions.
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem, with proven experience in building complex backend systems.
  • Strong background in microservices architecture, including asynchronous communication strategies, API contract management, and versioning.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and consumption.
  • Experience with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, including efficient data modeling and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools in production environments.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, observability practices, and monitoring tools.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and located in Brazil.
