  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in building products using Machine Learning techniques including Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Experience with information retrieval, machine learning/artificial intelligence, distributed computing, and large-scale system design.

You will work on projects critical to the needs of Google's users, with a focus on quality, performance, and how to integrate the latest advances in AI/LLMs into Google's Search infrastructure.In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere.   • Design and develop scalable, reusable information retrieval solutions, finding a good balance between quality and cost.
  • Analyze your solutions, with a scientific, data-driven mindset, and always keep in mind what is best for Google's users.
  • Use modern machine learning solutions (e.g., embedding retrieval) to evolve Google's search infrastructure.
  • Work in a high-paced environment with cross-team collaborations, open-ended challenges, and a rapidly evolving technology.
