What will be your key responsibilities?
  • This role will play critical part in the future operating model definitions for the Central Finance Product delivery, leading a highly engaged and performing team of Product Service Leads and Product Architects with global coverability of IT Product Lifecycle, with responsibilities around operations, development, automation, release management, regression testing, vendor management and front-end business monitoring tools, on top of Period End tracking within Central Finance Product.
  • This Leader influences and contributes at the leadership layer to define strategy for the ‘IT Central Finance Product Team’, orchestrating Operational Excellence standards, Finance of Tomorrow goals as well as FP&A/Controllership strategies, ensuring that in-take of new Legal Entities into Central Finance is made timely and within the standards of our Service Introduction Framework agreements.
  • Helps to shape the future Operating Model for Central Finance capability, re-designing internal processes and adapting to the complexity of the architecture of the new finance ecosystem.
  • On top of CFIN, PaPM Product and the Period End Data Lake monitoring are in scope.
  • Maintains awareness and brings perspective of industry directions for Central Finance as a Product, to define new, cost-effective operations and/or evolve existing ways of working in an optimal manner.
  • Partners with market lead 3rd Party Suppliers to provide end-to-end Service and Development capabilities, based on Operational Excellence standards, with overall accountability upon the agreed delivery metrics and KPIs, and in line with the ongoing strategy for upcoming ERP Transformation.
  • Ensures proper governance is established between the IT Central Finance Project Team and his/her team.
  • This Associate will require experience in IT Contracting and Commercial negotiations, and will be closely working with Procurement counterparts, ensuring mutual, efficient, and scalable contracts are signed-off between MARS and the 3rd Parties, including the know-how itself on big scoping activities through BIDs/RFPs.
  • Accountable for managing Stakeholders from Central Functions, Data Functions, and internal IT Functions, providing with regular status updates on progress of all demands raised by them, ensuring Project Team and FP&A/Controllership and FinTech COE areas are well known about the Service Delivery KPIs and issues/trends.
  • Escalation point for any business demands, working with his/her team and correspondent Business Stakeholders to address and engage all resources needed for solving/responding issues, especially during Week 1 (Period End).
  • Manages a different set of budget sources, such as Running, Variable and Transformation funds, ensuring clear and transparent visibility of financial targets committed x achieved, while bringing saving ideas and automation opportunities over time.
  • Line Management of a team of 5-6 Associates and extended team of contractors, with coach and development focus, as well responsible to assure resources are knowledgeable on Mars business processes and development/projects techniques and methodologies are applied in the day-to-day delivery.
  • Contributes to HUB Talent Pipeline strategy.
  • Ensures succession plan within the team.​
