• What You''ll DoThe Epic Games Research & Development team is searching for an experienced hands-on Research Engineer.
• The ideal candidate will bring a passion for digital humans and experience with machine learning and animation tech.
• Epic Games creates and deploys advanced computer-vision, computer-graphics and machine learning technologies to transform the production and consumption of digital media.
• This includes physics based simulation, ML based character animation, neural and inverse rendering and automated generative animation techniques among others.
• At Epic R&D we research, develop and deploy such technologies for Epics Unreal Engine and other Epic Products.
• In this role, you willResearch and prototype machine learning and generative approaches for game content creationWork with development engineers and product engineers to deploy and productize novel technology results in Epic productsEngage with the scientific community, contribute domain knowledge and advice in support of strategically relevant R&D effortsTo investigate, develop novel ideas, and expand the boundaries of the state-of-the-art in research.
