- Monitor and analyze inventory health metrics across assigned Hardlines categories, identifying out-of-stock risks, excess inventory situations, and supply chain disruptions that impact product availability- Generate and distribute daily/weekly performance reports tracking key instock metrics (in-stock rate, coverage days, aged inventory) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders- Support root cause analysis for availability issues by investigating vendor performance, demand forecast accuracy, purchase order status, and fulfillment center constraints
- Collaborate with vendors and supply chain partners to expedite critical purchase orders, resolve receiving delays, and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items
- Maintain and update inventory planning tools including demand forecasts, safety stock parameters, and reorder points based on sales trends and seasonality patterns- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support business decisions, such as evaluating new vendor onboarding opportunities, assessing promotional impact on inventory, or identifying slow-moving SKUs for clearance- Participate in cross-functional meetings with retail buyers, operations teams, and finance to align on inventory strategies and communicate instock performance- Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures, escalation protocols, and best practices for inventory management processes- Support system testing and implementation of new inventory management tools, providing feedback on functionality and user experience- Track and report on vendor compliance metrics including on-time delivery rates, fill rates, and lead time performance to drive continuous improvementBasic Qualifications- Experience in data analytics or automation
- Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
