Thoughtworks Global Partnerships team is searching for a Funding Specialist that will have responsibility for leading and driving all cloud funding activities within a defined regional account base.The Funding Specialist role will include shadowing, hands on situational learning and specific training and certification.   • Driving all funding activities within defined region including, but not limited to, maintaining a pipeline of funding opportunities, working with the Thoughtworks demand, delivery, and operations teams for a successful funding outcome
  • Building and maintaining relationships with funding partners, account, and partnership teams
  • Become an SME on funding programs and opportunities in defined region
  • Develop a general understanding of solutions and products
  • Meet or exceed goals and pipeline generation targets by driving funding leads, initial meetings and enabling the next step in the funding sales cycle
  • Develop a targeted internal prospecting campaign and strategy to build a pipeline of funding prospects
  • Develop and execute an internal enablement and evangelism campaign within the Thoughtworks demand teams focused on the benefits of cloud funding
  • Build “win-win” value propositions at the company and at individual levels with clients, prospects, and demand
  • Collaborate on engaging and personalized communications and develop creative plans for outreach. Use identified customer challenges to prescribe relevant campaigns and events to drive engagement
  • Complete detailed research within targeted accounts to develop long-term funding plans
Job qualificationsTechnical Skills
  • Familiar with (or have desire to learn) sales enablement platforms: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales automation tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to help plan, build, and execute campaigns and sales presentations
  • Interest in developing a technology and consulting acumen with the ability to positively translate into business value
  • Strong customer value orientation - you want your clients to succeed with their objectives
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and propel a project forward by exerting both direct and indirect influence.
Professional Skills
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales or related fields.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Able to handle ambiguity and change
