Responsible for coordinating and optimizing international trade operations related to the acquisition, transportation, and distribution of heavy machinery and construction equipment. This role ensures compliance with Brazilian and international regulations, manages documentation and contracts, and supports strategic initiatives to reduce costs and improve logistics efficiency.
  • Coordinate import and export processes for construction equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and review documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin; ensure compliance with Brazilian regulations (Receita Federal, ANVISA, MAPA) and international standards.
  • Monitor customs clearance processes with brokers and regulatory agencies; resolve issues and ensure efficient release of goods.
  • Negotiate delivery terms and contracts with international suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Track import duties, taxes, freight, and storage costs; propose strategies to reduce expenses and streamline operations.
  • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure equipment availability and traceability.
  • Identify risks related to delays, currency fluctuations, trade sanctions, and regulatory changes.
  • Generate reports on costs, lead times, volumes, and trade performance to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Engineer, Logistics, Foreign Trade, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in import/export operations, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment sector.
  • Practical knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, SISCOMEX, Drawback, and special customs regimes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TOTVS) and trade compliance platforms.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (required); Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with imports from China.
  • Technical understanding of construction equipment specifications and handling.
  • Certifications in foreign trade or international logistics.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian tax regimes (ICMS-ST, II, IPI, PIS/COFINS).
Workplace:100% on-site, in Powerchina's head office located in Vila Olimpia, São Paulo-SP.Availability to travel within the Country to visit the construction/operation sites.
