• We are seeking an innovative and autonomousKubernetes Engineerto join a strategic project for one of our major clients in the banking sector.
• The position is based in Madrid and involves working directly within the client''s private cloud infrastructure team.
• You will play a key role in elevating their Kubernetes platform to the highest level of performance, scalability, and reliability, as part of a large-scale private cloud initiative.
• Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on system and network layer optimizations - Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications - Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana - Optimize cluster performance, scalability, and security using advanced tools like Cilium and Illumio - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure and applications - Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequirements:- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on system and network layer expertise - Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs - Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm) - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go - Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly SaltStack - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana - Knowledge of network security and microsegmentation technologies like Cilium and Illumio - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones - Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practicesWhat We Offer:- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge private cloud infrastructure - Career growth path in a dynamic and innovative environment - Flexible work arrangement with 50% remote option - Collaboration with a global team of experts - Continuous learning and development opportunitiesJoin our exciting team and help drive innovation in our private cloud infrastructure.
