Learn more about itTHE OPPORTUNITYWe are hiring a Sr. Data Scientist (Time Series Forecasting) for our Value Management team in São Paulo!Our Value Management team designs and implements strategy for all our 10+ countries, towards higher Gross Profit and sustainable unit economics.Inside the Value Management team, you will be under the Value Management Analytics team which is responsible for the following: * Building, developing and improving our analytical models, focused on Time Series Forecasting and Planning
  • Structuring the Forecasting data
  • Teaming up with business stakeholders to unlock Growth and Enhance Profitability
Inside Value Management Analytics, strong business sense (problem-solving, written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management), and programming skills (Python & SQL) are fundamental to this position as you will be the one to translate structured and unstructured data into insights that will drive business decisions.YOUR IMPACT
  • In this specific role, you will be responsible for Planning and Forecasting Usage and Subscribers, meaning the amount of utilization of our products by our subscribers every month. This is extremely important and a key role for Wellhub, as this will be used as an important input for all the financial planning of the company
  • Apart from that, other challenges in the Value Management Analytics includes:
  • Subscriber Pricing
  • Clients Pricing
  • Partners-Plan allocation
  • Planning and Forecasting of main KPIs
  • A/B Testing

WHO YOU ARE
  • A senior professional with solid working experience with Python (data analysis, pandas and numpy are a must) and SQL are required (+3 years experience).
  • Experience with time series forecasting (frameworks such as ARIMA and python forecasting packages such as Prophet) and/or machine learning models are definitely a plus;
  • Strong analytical and programming skills: translate raw data into actionable insights is at the heart of what we do every day;
  • Strong business acumen with working experience side-by-side with business units. Previous knowledge in pricing and unit economics optimization is a plus;
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets;
  • Proficiency with data visualization techniques and tools;
  • Creative problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders in an enticing manner that encourages discussion and action;
  • Translate analytical findings into real strategic recommendations and build tests to prove a concept;
  • Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion;
  • Willingness to learn fast with a "roll-up-the-sleeves" & "get the job done" attitude;
  • Interested in growing and developing new skills as well as excitement to gain exposure to various aspects of the Wellhub business;
  • Able to communicate in Advanced-Fluent English.
