remember forever.We are looking for an amazing Production Artist with game development
experience to help us create characters for our 2D cards and 3D characters for our
collectable card game. In this totally remote role, you’ll be responsible for taking ideas to completion with expert finish and polish.Come join us and make great games with amazing people, all while enjoying a
ridiculous amount of fun along the way.Responsibilities
  • Iterate on character concepts in conjunction with our AI models to complete compelling, ethically sourced art
  • Take mashups of ideas to a highly polished and detailed finish
  • Touch up renders of characters for use in marketing, splash art, UI, etc.
  • Create clean, layered art for game production
  • Highly organized and accountable for production assets
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional video game concept art design experience
  • A portfolio, demonstrating a large number of 2D character concepts
  • Experience utilizing Midjourney and Stable diffusion to accelerate concepting
  • Exceptional ability to polish and finish art of varying styles
  • Excellent understanding and execution creating layered art for animation
  • Excellent understanding and ability to create highly stylized art
  • Exceptional ability to create high quality drawings and illustrations
  • Excellent adaptability and execution to create a diverse range of art styles
  • Very strong ability to design characters
  • Strong understanding of graphic design and application for illustrations
  • Excellent ability to convey ideas both verbally and visually
  • Excellent communication skills
Bonus Points for any of these:
  • Experience working on AAA or AA-quality games, ideally for PC or mobile.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with excellent time management and communication skills.

The Legal Bits:
In Compliance with local US law, we are disclosing compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Koin’s total compensation package, which may also include bonuses and LTI or other program specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials.
  • We offer competitive pay based on market standards. The base salary for this role is between $36,000 to $60,000 USD, depending on skills and experience. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
  • This is a temp to hire contract role, and will be fully remote
  • The ability to work core hours on Pacific time is required
  • All candidates will be considered on a contract basis only
