Android Software Engineer

• End Date: December/2025 Pay rate: 1800-1900 USD per month as a Full Time Employee.

• Overview: We are seeking an Android Software Engineer to contribute to the development of user-facing features in the Pinterest Android app.
• This role involves collaboration across product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features through the entire development lifecycle.
• Responsibilities: Develop Pinner-facing features within the Pinterest Android application, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Apply automated testing to ensure technical quality and maintainability of features.
• Conduct and analyze A/B experiments to validate product launches.
• Take ownership of components and features, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into development practices.
• Work closely with peers in a collaborative environment on impactful projects.
• Qualifications: Strong understanding of Android development and best practices in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android application development, building consumer or business-facing products.
• Proven ability to write reliable, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience designing, launching, and evaluating A/B experiments.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them effectively into development workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
