Position Overview:We are seeking a technically-minded Sales Assistant with expertise in customs clearance and logistics to support our growing operations in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have experience in the machinery, equipment, or AWP (Access Work Platform) industry, combined with strong sales coordination skills. This role requires fluency in English to facilitate seamless communication with our global supply chain partners.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Support & Customer ServiceProcess sales orders, prepare quotations, and track order fulfillmentMaintain accurate customer records in CRM systemProvide technical sales support for machinery/AWP products when neededGenerate weekly sales reports and market intelligence updatesOther sales support work2. Customs & Logistics ManagementPrepare and verify import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates)Ensure full compliance with ANVISA, INMETRO and other Brazilian regulatory requirementsCoordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize clearance processesTrack shipments and resolve any logistics delays or customs holdups3. Cross-functional CoordinationServe as liaison between Brazilian customers and international suppliersCommunicate technical specifications and shipping requirements in EnglishSupport warranty claims and aftersales service coordinationRequirements3+ years experience in sales support, preferably in machinery/equipment/AWP industryWorking knowledge of Brazilian import regulations (NCM codes, II, IPI, ICMS taxes)Experience with Mercosur trade agreements and special import regimes (extariff, etc.)Fluent English (B2+ level) for international correspondenceProficient in MS Office (advanced Excel) and CRM systemsPreferred:Technical understanding of construction equipment or aerial work platformsFamiliarity with industrial parts/components terminologyExperience using ERP systems for order management
