Executing a systematic reconciliation process to compare tax data reported by internal accounting and reconciliation teams with the data from tax authorities in each country.
Investigating and resolving discrepancies and variances in tax data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborating with the Accounting and Reconciliation teams to identify the root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.
Identifying gaps in our current tax reconciliation processes and designing and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency, control, and scalability.
Monitoring key tax-related metrics and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Staying informed on internal tax policies and external regulations to ensure continuous alignment and compliance.

Must-haves to shine in this role:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
Proven experience in financial reconciliation, with a strong preference for experience in tax-related reconciliation.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial data flows, and tax reporting processes.
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP and Simetrik tool is a strong advantage.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a global environment.
Advanced Spanish are required.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience in a fintech or high-growth tech company.
Experience with a global company that operates in multiple tax jurisdictions.
Nice to have: Knowledge of SQL, automation tools and/or data visualization (e.g., Alteryx, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau).
