Algorithmic Trader (Junior & Senior)

• In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing algorithmic trading strategies across various financial markets.
• Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor trading algorithms and strategies to ensure optimal performance, making adjustments as necessary based on real-time data and market conditions.
• Strategy Development: Design, develop, and implement algorithmic trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and trading opportunities.
• Backtesting: Perform backtesting of trading algorithms to ensure robustness and effectiveness in different market conditions.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other traders, quants, and developers to enhance trading systems and strategies.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on trading performance, strategy outcomes, and market insights for senior management.
• Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an algorithmic trader or in a similar role within the financial industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with data analysis tools and platforms is helpful.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
• Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Risk Management: Experience in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
