As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process and establishing a strong foundation for ongoing financial operations. This role focuses on project-based work, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with both clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into our accounting systems.Responsibilities

Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring that financial data, systems, and workflows are set up accurately and efficiently.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, providing clear communication and timely updates.
Review existing financial records, processes, and integrations to identify improvements or potential issues.
Collaborate closely with internal team members to coordinate deliverables and align project goals.
Work with multiple clients across a variety of industries, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high-quality service.
Utilize accounting technology and cloud platforms as part of a complex, integrated stack.

Requirements

Background in public accounting, preferably from a small or mid-sized CPA firm.
1–3+ years of experience in accounting or client onboarding roles with direct client interaction.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects independently.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using modern accounting and workflow tools.
QuickBooks certification is preferred but not required.
