We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.Main purpose of positionWe are currently looking for a Cost Controller in São Paulo, Brazil, for a fixed-term contract position, to join our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future.This dynamic role involves actively overseeing accounting, financial controlling, administration, and reporting processes. You will work closely with the Controlling Lead to execute tasks related to the financial aspects of projects led by Brazil, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal financial controls.Main Responsibilities
  • Monitors and forecasts cash flow for the construction phase of projects, ensuring available cash (cash in) to make the required payments (cash out).
  • Updates and analysis Controlling Tool, PoC calculation and other relevant reports, communicating relevant deviations and overruns for the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures that financial internal controls in local and group level are well preserved and performed.
  • Leads the payment process for Project invoices in D365 system, ensuring that internal controls are preserved, invoices are booked in the correct period, P2P process are followed up and payments are timely done, and accounting and tax impact are properly booked.
  • Oversees and have visibility of main contracts and commitments related to Project construction, including EPC-m and Head EPC agreements.
  • Provide relevant information to Finance and EPC team in a recurrent basis.
  • Provide clarification, explanations and evidences regarding financial aspects of the project to auditors and partners when required.
Qualifications And Competencies
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience within the areas of finance, accounting, auditing, tax and internal controls.
  • Experience with financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with internal controls.
  • Basic Tax knowledge.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience from and are motivated to work in a diverse cultural environment.
