- Acts as a business owner and executive sponsor; manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for Mastercard Brazil Core Products
- This role oversees product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L
- Core areas: Core Payments Products and Solutions Portfolio for Mastercard Brazil
- Responsible for overall product financial performance including P&L
- Leads a suite of products and leverages cross-functional teams to drive product and consumer strategies
- Acts as an expert, advocate and champion for designated products to internal and external stakeholders
- Advises and supports sales by recommending and influencing product pricing, and oversees the development of training and other product support materials for MasterCard's most critical products
- Leads broad commercialization initiatives including establishing go-to-market approach and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success
- Identifies, evaluates and prioritizes business cases for new business and product opportunities, and builds business models to improve Mastercard's footprint and competitiveness
- Supervises several groups/teams, ensures compliance with goal setting and performance appraisal processes, coaches and develops employees as an organizational resource
- Leads the development of differentiated products to meet the current and emerging needs of Mastercard customers and the market
- Experienced in the financial industry, leading product management teams accountable for core financial products
- Experience in translating and applying customer feedback to lead product offering adjustment strategies
- Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
- Fluent English
- Experience initiating and managing investigations of product/business risks and concerns
