This is a full-time remote opportunity for talent located in Brazil, with compensation paid monthly via invoice.Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
- Develop and support backend services in Ruby on Rails, integrating with GraphQL as needed.
- Collaborate with Product to shape design and technical decisions.
- Participate in peer code reviews and uphold coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-functional technical challenges.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping grow technical capabilities across the team.
- Work across teams to integrate community-focused features into the broader platform.
- Continuously improve team workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development.
- Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails (core requirement).
- Strong experience in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Exposure to Vue or Angular is nice to have.
- Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD practices, and scalable architecture.
- Fluent in English (C2+ level required).
- Excellent collaboration and team communication skills.
