Your responsibilities will include Provide strategic legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters. Collaborate with external counsel where necessary, managing costs and ensuring quality. Advise and lead on M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships (from due diligence through integration). Design and execute the LAR Legal strategic plan, aligned with global legal and business objectives. Contribute to global legal strategy and policy development, adapting them to LATAM's regulatory and business context. Establish and evolve legal operations capabilities in LATAM, including: Improve cross-functional collaboration through scalable tools and optimized legal workflows. Law degree (JD, LLM, or equivalent) with license to practice in at least one LATAM jurisdiction. Strong business acumen and comfort operating at the intersection of law, data, and strategy. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and culturally diverse environment. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus. Legal experience in-house or at a law firm. Proven experience in: Legal General (legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate, commercial matters); M&A transactions (deal structuring, due diligence, post-merger integration); Legal operations, project management, or legal tech initiatives.
